I mentioned I won the other First Pitch Series Two cards the other day and they arrived on Saturday. So here they are.
I also got a card of Billie Joe Armstrong, which is a double, and since my friend likes Green Day, its going to have a good home there.
These were the cards I had left to get. The J.K. Simmons card is the one I was happiest to get because I liked him in Law & Order among other things. The other cards are cool too, but that is the highlight. I really don't have much more to add so I was happy to finish the set, and I'm pairing down the rest of Series One and might get that done soon. I'm still on the lookout on some of the 2015 cards, but they are easy to get, just waiting on the right time to get them.
Sorry the post is so short, but that's really all I have tonight. I'm just not into it and I feel bad for not giving these cards the treatment I normally do, but I'm just not in the mood. On the bright side, I did scan a bunch of pages last night so I should have some more posts this week if I get the time.

J.K. Simmons is an amazing actor. How he went from a vile human in Oz (my favorite show, ever) to a very low key-mild mannered shrink on SVU is incredible. Shows off his acting range, that I (and I'm assuming you) have watched for nearly 20 years.
ReplyDeleteI like these cards as well. I was surprised at how much so. Haven't seen a couple of these. Nice post and here's to hoping I'll be able to score more. And I love Jim Harbaugh in uniform. Too funny.
