Picture Pages- Wrestling Edition

In some sort of revival of a series I started long ago, I'm bringing back picture pages.  Its a feature of showing pages of cards I have.  Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I did ever debut it or not, but I liked the name, so here we start.

Today's post will be short as I'm typing this as I watch Smackdown and the WWE Draft, so why not show some wrestling cards?

These are a few cards from one of my favorite wrestling sets.  I think it came out in 2012.  I liked everything about the set,  and one day I'll try to get more.

Sure they could have used more action shots, but I am okay with the photos they used.  Especially the Kaitlyn, I always liked her.

Even the stickers and the portrait cards turned out nice.  Overall I can't really find one complaint about the set.

Sorry this post is so weak, but I got sidetracked, and didn't want to put off another day of posting so here it is.  I hope to make it up by the end of the week.  I do have some interesting stuff, and I did also scan all these pages so it isn't that much of a wasted post.  Thanks for reading and have a great night.

DANGIT, Raw just drafted Rusev, I wanted him to go to Smackdown, but The Miz is going to Smackdown, and that's AWESOME!

  1. There might not be any action shots but that's a great photo of the Godfather. He was such a ridiculous character.

    1. He was, I didn't care for him much when he was first on, but I grew to like him as time went on. My uncles would talk about how ridiculous his character he was, but they liked him.

  2. Draft was a good watch - I think the did well with most. I do wonder if Ambrose loses the belt Sunday so the WWE title is in raw. Nice cards - wish I still had my 1985ish cards which the design, I believe was borrowed from.

    1. I see Ambrose keeping the title and them redoing the whole "Hand the title to someone" thing they did last split. Maybe even go full circle and have HHH hand the belt to Rollins.

    2. I never had the 1985 cards, but have seen them online. I wouldn't mind some of them because I think British Bulldog has a card or two in the set. I know he does in the 87 (I think) set that look like TV borders.

I thought the draft picks were good, but didn't care for the flow of the show. Though I did like the main event. The supplemental picks after Smackdown though was interesting.

    3. Also, I would be fine with Ambrose keeping the title and Rollins gifted the title as you suggest Mike, but I don't know if they'll have Ambrose win back to back matches against Rollins (even if Reigns is involved this time). I think they'll have Rollins win after Reigns beats down Ambrose and Rollins (or J&J return) to prevent Reigns from winning. I say that because I think Smackdown could have a nice tournament to crown a champ for Smackdown, and most of their feuds could remain in tact. In fact, if they continue the Cena vs. AJ fued, I could see it for the title at Summerslam.
