World Series Game 5 Notes

Yikes, last night wasn't good.  However today is a new day, and a new game.  Here is the starting lineups for both teams for tonight.

Who is singing the National Anthem tonight?  Well if you're like me, "IT'S BEEN AWHILE" since you heard his name.  It's Aaron Lewis of Staind.

Finally the Kansas City Star posted an article earlier last week noting who some famous people you might see as fans at the games rooting for the Royals and the Giants.  They also forgot to add some more names, one of which I am a big fan of- Kevin Pollak, however he is rooting for the Giants.

While sometimes it seems celebs are trying to get screen time at major events, I think its cool to see passionate fans rooting for their team, it doesn't matter if they are famous or not.  I loved seeing Paul Rudd on the field after the ALCS win.  I got a laugh out of seeing Steve Perry singing along to Journey last night.  It shows they are just like us.

While my prediction could still come true (Royals in 6), I just hope for a better result than last night, and a win for Kansas City.  The Chiefs already won today, so let's keep the momentum going.

Thanks for reading and have a great night.

  1. Aaron Lewis was an interesting choice to say the least.

    1. From what I've been hearing it is even more odd because he just did a show in Kansas City the night before. I would think they would have someone ready in San Francisco the crowd loves instead of him.

Yeah, I like Madison (except in this series). With any luck it goes to game seven and he threw too much last night and isn't available.

    1. Nice. I tweeted something similar on twitter last night.

Let's cut him some slack, It's Been Awhile... since he sang in front of people.
